CIPP US program is run by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). They offer a large variety of resources to those in the privacy realm.

The exam covers five topics. The first domain covers foundational privacy information, including the structure and enforcement of security laws. The second domain covers limits on private-sector data collection. The third domain covers government and court access to private information. The fourth domain is workplace privacy issues. Finally, the fifth domain includes state privacy laws.

Some of the test questions are intentionally ambiguous. This video recommends using the study guide to prepare for the exam and video resources.
